Some say that the most important part of a quest is the journey.
We respectfully disagree, on behalf of those who have already bought the book.
Ah the book. The final part of The Cookbook Adventure.
Let us tell you about the book.
As you’ve probably already heard in the video, the book is a combination between a cookbook and an adventure diary written by the three of us.
In it, there will be at least 19 recipes (i.e. at least one for every country we pass through) from various cultures. Each recipe will also come with “story”. A little something to give the recipe som flavour beyond what goes into the pots and pans, something for your mind to mull over while you taste the food.
To complement the recipes and their stories, there will be slightly less formal and more personal tales of our own experiences – anything of note that happens on the road between Stockholm and Ulaanbaatar. Knowing us, there’ll be some prime material.
The book will be made available in two versions:
The Digital One.
The Physical One.
The digital one is easy enough to explain: it’s a pdf. You’ll be able to read it on your computer, your iPad, your Galaxy, your smartphone… Or whatever else you are able to open a .pdf file with.
Unfortunately, no one can be told what The Physical One is. You have to see it for yourself. But we’ll give it a shot, based on our discussions with the printing company:
- The book will be hardback.
- The book will be in full, glorious, colour.
- The book will contain pictures of everything from the food to maps of where we’ve been.
- The book will also contain some less glamorous photos of us after a hard few weeks on the road.
