Crowdfunding & Other Details

Crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new way to fund creative projects.
We believe that:
• A good idea, communicated well, can spread fast and wide.
• A large group of people can be a tremendous source of money and encouragement.

Crowdfunding has been gaining popularity as a way to get things made thanks to sites like Kickstarter.

So how does the funding work, What happens to my money?

When you “purchase” one of the pledges, that money is sent into a PayPal account. This account is locked until we reach the minimum funding level of €10,000.

If, Lady Luck forbid, we don’t manage to reach the minimum funding level then all of the money will be returned to the respective pledger, minus the transaction cost (2.9% + €0.3).

Assuming that the funding is successful, and we reach or surpass the minimum funding level then we will embark on the fantastic journey that will culminate in the production of The Cookbook Adventure.

We expect that we will start sending out rewards and copies of The Cookbook Adventure in early November 2012.
